(First impressions) In Her Element ⋅ Low pH rose gel cleanser✨ New product in my routine! I purchased this from @beautybarph last week and I have been using it every day since then. I have been in search for an alternative cleanser to my HG #CosRx low pH cleanser. And after almost a week of using this, I think that I have finally found “the one”. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 〰️ This cleanser comes in a pretty in pink pump bottle (again, I love products in pump bottles) and has a nice rosy scent – nowhere near overwhelming. I apply this on my face for #doublecleansing after cleansing with muji’s mild oil cleanser. This cleanser has a feel on the skin, it doesn’t create so much lather but it doesn’t really affect how super soft and clean my face feels after rinsing. I am also loving the fact that this is coming from a local brand 💕 More thoughts about this to come! Have you tried anything else from In Her Element that you would recommend? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Along with my baby thai buddha – gifted by @pushpindaisy 💞 in the photo are my HG pm routine products ✨ #Bioderma micellar sensibio ✨ #Muji mild cleansing oil ✨ #InHerElement low pH cleanser (new) ✨ #Laneige lipmask in Berry ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 〰️ #selfcare #igbeauty #skincare #skincareph #skincareroutine #abcommunity #abcommunityph #productreview #skincarereview #skincarecommunity #beautycommunity #amroutine #pmroutine #asianblogger #asianblog #beautycare #asianskincare #beautyreview

. Posting tonight’s #skincareroutine 🧖🏻‍♀️ Been a hot minute since I did a post like this. I’ve been getting some tiny breakouts along the chin area and am still nursing a cystic acne near the left side of my lower lip. . Products: ✨ #dhc Deep Cleansing Oil Massaged 3 pumps of this on the face and neck to remove my makeup and sunscreen. Patted down a few drops of water to emulsify and rinsed it off. ✨ #inherelementph Low Ph Rose Gel Cleanser Been using this for 2nd cleansing all throughout the month of July and have completely fallen for it! I love that it makes my skin feel clean without drying it out plus it smells so divine. ✨ #sageandtera Vanishing Spell Clay Mask Followed my girl @jathmine ‘s lead and spot treated the pesky bumps on my face. I left it on for 15 min. then rinsed it off with water. ✨ #dearklairs Supple Preparations Treatment Toner I pat down 1 layer of this on the face and let it sit for a minute before moving on to essence. ✨ #hanskin Real Complexion Hyaluron Skin Essence I also patted down just 1 layer of this for tonight’s routine. ✨ #benton Snail Bee Ultimate Serum I placed about half a dropper full of this onto my finger tips and patted it on my face, paying extra attention to areas where I have some blemishes. ✨ #facerepublic Sleeping Beauty Face Mask I chose an aloe mask to use tonight cause my skin needed some soothing and this mask delivers! It’s so refreshing and I felt like it was a great compliment to my S&T spot treat sesh. ✨ #etudehouse Moistfull Collagen Deep Cream I scooped a pea sized amount of the product, rubbed it between my palms and patted it on my face. ✨ #mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream Dispensed a pea sized amount as well and distributed it equally on both my ring fingers. Patted along the under eye area and over my smile lines. ✨ #lucaspapaw Ointment Applied a generous amount on my lips because they have been feeling dry lately. ✨ #commleaf Rose Sleeping Mask Sealed all the goodness in with this lush sleeping mask. . And that is it for tonight’s routine! I hope you guys had an awesome day and I bid you all a good night 💋

Day 9 of the #BirthdaySpookChallenge is Deadman's Grave ⚰ An empty and an almost empty, thought this was the best time to share my review of the two products from the brand In Her Element, I got them both on sale way back in May when I was getting into local brands, I would say this brand leans high-end based on the packaging, formulations and price. These lasted me long since it was kept in rotation with a few other products. 🌹 In Her Element Low pH Rose Gel Cleanser • this was the first low ph cleanser I bought, I've tried the Cosrx one from my sister beforehand but that one dried my skin out so I was on the hunt for a low ph cleanser leaning towards a more natural side. This lathers nicely and leaves my face feeling clean. I recently emptied this and realized this one was leaving my face somewhat tight, I only noticed it when I switched cleansers. 🌹 In Her Element Rose Gel Serum Moisturizer • this one is lightweight but it clings to the skin when spread out, so I like to dot it along my face for easier application. It feels tacky before drying down, so I find that it's a good base for tinted sunscreen or under make up since this can also look shiny on my skin. Hydration-wise I found that this one is best for more oilier skin, since my skin is combination and has gotten dehydrated it isn't enough, I do customize it since it feels lacking in some areas, I add in a drop of oil or a vitamin c serum. This comes in a jar so it's not the most hygenic packaging and it doesn't come with a spatula like other jar packaged creams. I have a bit left and I'm currently using it for my neck and décolleté area. 〰️ Both are probably the most fragrant skincare items I have tried, something I know that I would miss, and the best thing is that's all natural without added artificial fragrance. I don't think I would repurchase though, since I have a handful of skin concerns, I'll be needing products that would target those better. Their new releases might be a better match for my skin though. | #SkincarebaeChallenge

REVIEW • I now fully understand the hype surrounding @inher_element’s Low pH Rose Gel Cleanser and why it’s a favorite in the #skincarecommunityph! I know I’m pretty late to the IHE game but hey, better late than never right? ⠀ I’ve been wanting to try this cleanser (and the brand in general) for a while now but kept putting it off because of the cleanser count in my stash. Ever since trying (and loving!) the Petal Skin line that IHE sent me, I knew that I had to try the cleanser regardless of my cleanser count. ⠀ Kicking myself now for waiting too long but I’m so happy I finally have this in my arsenal. I’ve been using it for a little over three weeks now and I LOVE IT! ⠀ This low pH cleanser aims to give you cleaner, clearer and brighter skin. Key ingredients include rose distillate providing antiseptic and antibacterial benefits, aloe leaf juice to hydrate, licorice extract to soothe, vitamin B5 to soften and daisy flower extract + milk protein to brighten the skin! This is fragrance-free, SLS and SLES-free. ⠀ It comes in a pink bottle with a pump that dispenses just the right amount of product. I’ve mentioned before that I love rose scented products and this one smells amazing! The product itself starts out gel-like and lathers and rinses easily. It does a great job at cleansing the skin and it does so ever so gently— there’s no dryness, no tightness and no irritation whatsoever! I love that this has a brightening effect as well. Since I started using this, my skin has felt healthier, become softer, smoother, and more radiant. ⠀ Definitely repurchasing this and I’m thinking of trying their moisturizer next! Available via inherelement.ph, select Beauty Bar stores and @beautymnl!

Part 5 of my most used/loved beauty items in 2018: Skincare! . ⭕ The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil -- My favorite face oil in 2018! Very affordable, no frills, highly moisturizing. . ⭕ Guerisson Horse Oil Hand Cream-- Normally I hate hand creams (too sticky, greasy, don't absorb well/quickly), but this one is the perfect mix of hydrating and non-sticky with a light, mildly floral scent. . ⭕ IsnTree Hyaluronic Acid Toner-- I love a thicker toner, so this is perfect for me. This also has a hefty amount of Hyaluronic Acid (the product claims to have 50% pure HA) and is intensely moisturizing. . ⭕ In Her Element Low pH Rose Gel Cleanser-- Everything I love in a cleanser: Low pH, non-stripping/drying, mildly scented, affordable, and proudly made in the 🇵🇭 . ⭕ Whamisa Organic Flowers Lotion (Double Rich)-- I was really obsessed with hanbang last year, or traditional Korean medicine, and its applications in K-beauty. A little on the pricey side if you don't get it on sale, but well worth it for its nourishing/moisturizing properties. . ⭕ L_A_N_D Museum Rosewater Handy Mist-- Something I took a chance on at ÅLAND Myeongdong because it was cute, very cheap (~3000 KRW/P140), and I'd just run out of my Whamisa facial mist. This is so nice to spray on after a warm, muggy day! Hilamos in a bottle. . ⭕ Sage & Tera The Cullen DNA Super Glow Mask-- Local brands hitting it out of the park! This is a dupe for a more famous (and more expensive) face mask; check out my upcoming brand overview to find out which it is. 😉 . ⭕ V&M Naturals Cellulose Hydrating Lip Polish-- Did a review for this recently on the blog! If you've read that, I think you guys know how I feel about this. 😍 . ⭕ V&M Smooch Lip Detox-- Oops, accidentally included this in my best lip products post! Oh well, here's its second appearance. HG lip Balm for 2018! 😅 . Last two posts coming up tomorrow: Favorite face masks and haircare of 2018!

I'm not really fussy when it comes to face wash--as long as it cleans my face, does not leave an uncomfortable feeling, and does not trigger any adverse reaction, I am good. . However, when low-pH cleansers became all the rage in the #ABcommunity, you can say that I was curious and wanted to see for myself what the fuss is all about. . Late last year, I was fortunate enought to win a variety of @inher_element products, which includes the Low pH Rose Gel Cleanser. This cleanser has been a staple ever for me ever since, and you'll find out why in this post. . In Her Element aims to deliver a signature sensorial experience, and that they did with the Low pH Rose Gel Cleanser. . This is a mild purifying cleanser that contains active botanical ingredients to help achieve clearer, brighter skin. . This makes my skin super soft like a baby’s butt right after cleansing. I believe this also helped me achieve clearer skin and definitely brightens after every use. Aside from the luxurious scent if roses, a little goes a long way and this lather’s on pretty well despite the absence of sulfates, and is not stripping/drying. This still leaves a moisturized, healthy feel on the skin but still gets the job done of cleansing the skin. . I cannot stress how much this product is worth the hype. I guess you just have to try it out for yourself. . The @inher_element Low pH Rose Gel Cleanser is available at www.inherlement.ph for Php375 for the mini version, and Php675 for the full size. . . #datkbeautyglow #asianbeauty #amabie #koreanbeauty #kbeautyph #ABbeatthealgorithm #amabieA #amabiebeauty #abskincare #abskincareaddict #asianskincare #beautybloggerph #beautyblogger #skincareph #skincare #abbloggerph #abcommunity #abcommunityph

WHAT IS A LOW PH CLEANSER & WHY DOES IT MATTER? *brace yourselves for some science throwback* 😅 🌺 Low ph cleansers are becoming famous in the skincare market nowadays and lots of brands are releasing their own versions. During highschool, we learned in science class the "ph scale" - the quantitative measure of the level of acidity or basicity (ph stands for "power of hydrogen") ▪️equal to 7 = neutral ▪️less than 7 = acidic ▪️more than 7 = basic/alkaline 🌺 And so? DOES IT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE SKIN? 😂 We all have a natural shield, called the ACID MANTLE, that protects our skin from harmful elements and harsh chemicals. The ideal ph level of the acid mantle is said to be somewhere between 4.50 to 5.50. If one's acid mantle has been properly taken care of (ph-balanced products are being used), the skin will be glowing, moisturized, and possibly, free from acne. But if you continuously use products with high ph, you are probably destroying your acid mantle! 🌺 NOW, WHAT SHOULD I DO? 😮 The first step in embracing the ph-balanced lifestyle is to revisit your cleansers. The starting point of any skincare routine is cleansing and sadly, cleansers are mostly the culprits of high ph products. Long term use will disrupt the acid mantle, making the face very hospitable to bacteria which may result to moisture loss, sensitivity, and may worsen acne. 😲 🌺 As mentioned, there are many low ph cleansers available in the market and my favorites are in this photo ☝🏼@inher_element Rose Gel Cleanser (ph of 5.5 to 6), which I use during the cold season, and @cosrx Good Morning Gel Cleanser (ph of 5) during summer.. still thinking if I will repurchase considering that there are newly released cleansers that I've been eyeing out 👀 such as @bywishtrend.ph Acid Duo Mild Cleanser (ph of 5.5; contains LHA and PHA, a dream 😍) & @sageandtera Soja+ (ph of 4.8; contains AHA & BHA) 💕 🌺 Bottom Line: The ph level of the products you apply on your skin matters. So the next time you shop for your skincare needs, always ask for the ph level! 🌺 PS. In Her Element and Sage&Tera are local brands!! #lovelocal #supportlocal 🌺 PPS. Long caption was the result of the heavy traffic 😂
